Santoshi Mata Puja Items

Santoshi Mata puja items have to be selected carefully so as to make sure that the puja vidhi is successful. To do that, you must have a Santoshi Mata photo, the entire puja book that contains the story to be narrated to devotees and you also require roasted chana and jaggery as the Prasad. Some devotees also offer green banana.

Before beginning the puja, you should collect all the Santoshi Mata puja items that have been listed below:

• 1 kalash (a pot containing water)
• Flowers
• Betel leaves
• Dry whole chana or chickpeas and unrefined jaggery used to prepare Prasad
• Agarbatti or incense sticks
• Camphor for the Aarti
• Diyas (clay oil lamps with cotton wick dipped in oil or ghee)
• Kumkum
• Turmeric
• Santoshi Mata photo
• Coconut for the kalash (the coconut is used for the puja)
• Wooden stool to place the deity idol
• Rice blended with turmeric
